What a Single Personal Training Session Costs

In short

A single 1-to-1 session at our centre costs RM120-RM200, with home or condo-gym visits higher due to travel. A one-off is great for an assessment, a form check, or a trial. For real change, though, two sessions a week over weeks beats scattered single bookings.

Sometimes you just want one session. Maybe you are visiting KL for a week, maybe you want a professional to check your squat and deadlift before you carry on solo, or maybe you want to try us before committing to anything. A single 1-to-1 session at our Putra Heights centre runs RM120-RM200, and a home or condo-gym visit costs more because we build in travel time.

We are honest about what a single session can and cannot do. One session is enough to assess you, teach two or three key movements well, and send you off with a plan. What one session will not do is transform your body, that takes consistency. So we will happily sell you a single session, but we will also tell you when a small block would serve you far better for the money.

When a single session is the right call

  • You are travelling and want one good workout while in KL
  • You need a form check on squats, deadlifts or a specific lift
  • You want to trial a trainer before buying a block
  • You train alone but want an occasional expert tune-up

When a block serves you better

If your goal is fat loss, real strength, or a confident return to training, single sessions spaced randomly rarely deliver. Progress needs a plan that builds week on week. Buying scattered one-offs usually costs more per result than a 10-pack, because each session starts from scratch instead of continuing a programme.

What you get in one session

  1. A quick screen of movement, history and goals
  2. A warm-up matched to what we will train
  3. Two or three key exercises coached in detail
  4. Written notes so you can repeat it correctly
  5. Honest advice on whether to continue and how

How the single-session price is set

The rate reflects a full block of one trainer's time and expertise for you alone, plus setup and programming around your session. Home and condo visits add travel, which is why they sit higher. A single session is priced a little above the per-session rate inside a package because there is no block commitment behind it.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is a single session worth it for a beginner?+

It is worth it to learn a few movements safely and get a plan. But most beginners progress far faster with a short block, because technique and confidence build across sessions, not in one visit.

Can I book single sessions on and off?+

Yes, subject to trainer availability. Just know that ad-hoc bookings are harder to slot in than a planned block, and progress is slower when sessions are far apart.

Does a single session cost more than one inside a package?+

Slightly, yes. Package sessions are cheaper per session because the block lets us plan ahead and locks in your slots. A one-off carries no such commitment, so it sits a little higher.

Can I do a single home-visit session?+

Yes. It will be priced in the home-visit range and adjusted for your travel zone. We will confirm the exact figure before booking so there are no surprises.

Beginner Starter Package

Our beginner starter package is a small, sensible block, an assessment plus around eight to ten sessions, designed to teach safe technique and build a habit. It is priced honestly with a per-session rate below single bookings, and kept deliberately small so you can prove it works before committing more.

Budgeting for Training

Budget for training by first deciding a monthly amount you can comfortably sustain, then choosing the format that fits it, frequency, location and block size. A smaller plan you keep for months beats an ambitious one you quit. We help you build a plan around your budget, not the other way round.

Cheap vs Quality

Cheap training can mean shared attention, template plans, or inexperienced trainers, but it is not always bad for simple needs. Quality costs more and buys experience, real assessment and adaptation. The honest question is whether the cheaper option meets your actual needs, sometimes it does, often it does not.

Condo Gym Pricing

Condo-gym training is priced like a home visit, RM180-RM350, since travel is the main cost driver. The upside is equipment: you use the gym you already pay maintenance for, so no kit to buy. We assess what your facility has and build the plan around it.

Prices

Corporate Package

Our corporate package brings training to your office or nearby condo gym for small groups of staff. Pricing is per session and scales with group size, so cost per head drops as more join. It suits companies wanting a genuine wellness benefit rather than a token perk, with clear, no-surprise quotes.

Prices

Cost Per Result

Price per session is a misleading number. What matters is cost per result: what you actually pay per kilo of fat lost, per movement learned, or per injury avoided. A cheap session that produces nothing is expensive per result; a pricier one that works can be the better deal.
