Travel Zones and Fees for Home Training

In short

Home and condo visits are priced by travel zone, which reflects distance and typical traffic from our Putra Heights base. Nearer areas like USJ and Subang sit at the low end; farther ones like KLCC or Cyberjaya at the high end. The zone is baked into the quoted rate, never added later as a surprise.

When a trainer drives to you, distance and traffic decide how much of their day the visit consumes. So instead of one flat surcharge that overcharges nearby clients and undercharges far ones, we use simple travel zones. Your zone is set by where you live relative to our Putra Heights base, and it is folded into the per-session price you are quoted, there is no separate line item that appears at the end.

We keep the zone map deliberately transparent. If you are ten minutes away in USJ, you should not subsidise someone in Putrajaya, and vice versa. Below is roughly how areas fall. These are guides, not rigid rules, a client in a far zone who trains three times a week may land a better rate than the map suggests, because regular routes are easier for us to plan.

Roughly how zones fall

  • Zone 1 (low end): Putra Heights, USJ, Subang Jaya
  • Zone 2: Shah Alam, Petaling Jaya, Puchong
  • Zone 3: Bangsar, Mont Kiara, Cyberjaya, Putrajaya
  • Zone 4 (high end): KLCC and central KL at peak hours

Why traffic matters as much as distance

A ten-kilometre trip to KLCC at 6pm can take longer than a twenty-kilometre run to Cyberjaya at 10am. Because traffic eats the trainer's time, timing can shift your effective zone. Booking off-peak slots often keeps you at the lower end of your range, which we will always point out when it can save you money.

What the zone does and does not do

The zone sets where you sit inside the RM180-RM350 home range. It does not change the coaching, the plan, or the length of your session. It is purely the travel component. If your regular slot and route make our scheduling easier, we would rather pass that back to you than pad the number.

How to confirm your zone

  1. Send your area, condo name or nearest landmark
  2. Tell us your preferred training days and times
  3. We map it to a zone and quote an all-in per-session rate
  4. We flag if off-peak timing would lower your rate
  5. The quoted number is final, no surprise surcharge later

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a separate travel charge on top?+

No. The travel is already inside the per-session rate we quote for your area. You will never get a session invoice with a surprise petrol or distance line added at the end.

Can off-peak timing lower my rate?+

Often yes. Midday and mid-morning slots avoid the worst traffic, which saves us time and can keep you at the lower end of your zone. We will tell you when a time change genuinely helps.

What if I am just outside your usual areas?+

Tell us anyway. We cover most of KL and Selangor, and slightly farther spots may still work at the top of the range, especially for regular twice-weekly training. We will be honest if it is not practical.

Does the zone change if I move house?+

It can, since it is based on where we travel to. If you move, just let us know your new address and we will re-quote fairly. Nothing is hidden or automatic.

Beginner Starter Package

Our beginner starter package is a small, sensible block, an assessment plus around eight to ten sessions, designed to teach safe technique and build a habit. It is priced honestly with a per-session rate below single bookings, and kept deliberately small so you can prove it works before committing more.

Budgeting for Training

Budget for training by first deciding a monthly amount you can comfortably sustain, then choosing the format that fits it, frequency, location and block size. A smaller plan you keep for months beats an ambitious one you quit. We help you build a plan around your budget, not the other way round.

Cheap vs Quality

Cheap training can mean shared attention, template plans, or inexperienced trainers, but it is not always bad for simple needs. Quality costs more and buys experience, real assessment and adaptation. The honest question is whether the cheaper option meets your actual needs, sometimes it does, often it does not.

Condo Gym Pricing

Condo-gym training is priced like a home visit, RM180-RM350, since travel is the main cost driver. The upside is equipment: you use the gym you already pay maintenance for, so no kit to buy. We assess what your facility has and build the plan around it.

Prices

Corporate Package

Our corporate package brings training to your office or nearby condo gym for small groups of staff. Pricing is per session and scales with group size, so cost per head drops as more join. It suits companies wanting a genuine wellness benefit rather than a token perk, with clear, no-surprise quotes.

Prices

Cost Per Result

Price per session is a misleading number. What matters is cost per result: what you actually pay per kilo of fat lost, per movement learned, or per injury avoided. A cheap session that produces nothing is expensive per result; a pricier one that works can be the better deal.
