Personal Training for Adults Living With Obesity in KL & Selangor

In short

If your doctor has cleared you, private training is a comfortable, judgement-free way to start when you are carrying extra weight. We meet your body where it is, protect your joints, and progress at a pace that feels safe. We coach exercise only; medical weight management stays with your doctor.

Walking into a busy commercial gym can feel exposing when you are carrying extra weight, and that alone stops a lot of people from ever starting. Private 1-to-1 training removes the audience entirely, it is just you and your trainer, in a setting you choose, working at a pace that respects where your body is right now.

We coach movement, not medicine. We do not prescribe diets, weight-loss medication or surgery, and we make no promises about numbers on a scale, those are decisions for you and your doctor. What we offer is safe, patient, joint-aware coaching that helps you build strength, confidence and a habit that lasts.

Starting where you actually are

The first sessions are built entirely around what feels manageable for you, that might mean seated exercises, supported movements, or short bouts with plenty of rest. There is no minimum fitness you need before you begin. We adapt every exercise to your body rather than forcing your body into an exercise.

Progress is gentle and celebrated. Standing up more easily, walking further, or managing stairs with less effort are real wins, and we track those long before we ever talk about anything else.

How we keep it comfortable and safe

  • Complete privacy, your centre, home or condo gym, never a crowd
  • Joint-friendly, often low-impact movements to protect knees and hips
  • Seated and supported options whenever they suit you better
  • Short sessions to start, building endurance gradually
  • Zero judgement, honest encouragement, your pace throughout

Red flags, stop and get review

  • Chest pain, tightness or pressure at any point
  • Breathlessness far beyond the effort, or that does not settle with rest
  • Dizziness, fainting or a racing, irregular heartbeat
  • Sharp or worsening joint pain, especially in knees, hips or back
  • Any symptom your doctor asked you to watch for, contact them

Your doctor leads weight management

Any medical side of managing your weight, nutrition plans, medication, referrals or surgery, is your doctor's domain, not ours. We coach the exercise safely alongside whatever medical support you have. If your doctor sets limits or refers you to a dietitian, we build fully within that.

Frequently Asked Questions

I am worried about being judged, what is it like?+

It is completely private. One trainer, one client, in a setting you choose, no crowd, no mirrors full of strangers. Most clients tell us the nerves disappear after the first session because it is just supportive coaching.

What if I cannot do much yet?+

That is exactly who private training suits. We start with seated or supported movements and short efforts, and build from there. There is no fitness level you need to reach before beginning.

Will you put me on a diet?+

No. We are trainers, not dietitians or doctors. Any nutrition or medical weight-management advice comes from your doctor or a dietitian they refer you to. We focus purely on safe, effective exercise.

Will this protect my joints?+

We prioritise joint-friendly, often low-impact movements and adapt anything that causes discomfort. If joint pain is sharp or worsening, we stop and ask you to have it checked before continuing.
